>Hey 🙂 how is everyone’s week going? So far my week has been pretty good. Yesterday (Monday) I had my makeup for photography assessment at TAFE. I’m happy with how my makeup turned out on my mum. Am now looking forward to getting the photos back. The photographer took some photos in black and white and in color.
I’m glad to have met the photographer. He’s a uni student, studying fashion photography. He asked me what I’m doing and when I said I want to get into Fashion Styling he told me to send him my cards when I start up my business. Yay! My first fashion industry contact 😀
Ok on to the swatches. I have swatched my MAC pigment colors and my first Barry M dazzle dust. Hope you find this helpful in some way 🙂
Top: Vanilla: I was expecting a more white color when I ordered this but it’s a strange cream/white color and the color payoff is really bad. I don’t like this pigment.
Left: Platinum: Love this pigment! Color payoff is the same as “Gold”, really great.
Right: Gold Mode: This is quite a nice color, kinda bronzey-gold. I haven’t really used it much though. The color payoff is quite good 🙂
Top left: Green Olive: Love this green and the color payoff is great.
Top right: Fuchsia: Looks really pigmented in jar but the color payoff isn’t that great, as you can see it is the least vibrant of these colors, but I do like this pink anyway.
Bottom left: Chocolate Brown: Color payoff is good. It wasn’t the brown I was after when I ordered this online but it’s still quite nice.
Bottom right: Gold: Love the gold! Color payoff is awesome, tiny bit goes a long way 😀
Barry M – Dazzle Dust #71 Burnt Orange.
This is a great color but it is way to shimmery! I was a bit disappointed with this color; it’s loaded with glitter and is kinda chalky (from all the glitter). The color pay off isn’t the best either which suprised me, for this pic I had to use, not a lot, but more than expected, to get the color show up so vibrant.
