My Paris Apartment

Bonjour!

Bienvenue sur le tour de mon appartement! (Welcome to the tour of my apartment) 🙂

I am not going to write much for this post. Just sharing some pictures of my apartment. It’s a nice place. Very airy and so light. The only downside is the road, it’s so freaking noisy! I get woken up every morning around 6 or earlier because of trucks and all sorts of banging noises.

Toilet/Dungeon :P

Toilet/Dungeon 😛

The toilet is terrifying! I didn’t even use it for the first couple days…I went to the public toilets haha. But now that I’ve used it a couple times I’m getting used to it…kind of. I really does feel like a torture room or something.

Kitchen

Kitchen

So you all know how tiny I am, well I can’t even stretch my arms out in this kitchen. That’s how narrow it is! I haven’t tried to cook a meal in here yet. Will let you know how it goes ha. The open window makes me happy. There is always a cool breeze flowing through and I can hear people in the other apartments speaking in French. It’s a really nice relaxing sound.

Oven!

Oven!

Yes this seriously is their oven!! I could not believe my ears when Arianna said ‘this is the oven’…I was dumbfounded haha. I mean seriously! How does one make a proper meal using this? Amazing.

I love the room I’m staying in (it is Arianna’s). It is so light and airy! It makes a big change from my prison room back home haha. I really could imagine living in this room. And I really like the orange and yellow colors.

Chaos…this suits me perfectly ha. I really like the neat but messy feel. And I love how the floor boards squeak when I walk on them and how a cool breeze is always coming through the open windows at all times of the day. This is definitely one thing I will miss a lot when I go back to Australia.

So just a short post this time. I will start writing up day 4 later on. I went to the Louvre and Notre Dame 🙂

Au revoir xx

Very nice to see where you are living ! And yes the open windows, very french (because no AC) and I love it too. My parents house is always open, all the doors and windows, no fly screen 🙂
When they visit, they open all the windows as well, I love it 🙂
Enjoy and looking forward to read day 4 🙂
