A few weeks ago I teamed up with Loverly, a complete wedding organisation website, to create a makeup look based on a dress I chose from their site! What is Loverly? It’s an awesome wedding organisation website but not only that, you can also buy everything wedding related on there too!! You can buy, save ideas, and plan your wedding on there 🙂
This is the dress I chose: http://lover.ly/shop/dresses/oscar-de-la-renta/look-9/images/349551/
Vintage how I love thee. I wish that time travel was a real thing haha. There are some gorgeous dresses for sale on Loverly, click here to check them out, I had a squiz and I fell in love with like all of them haha. I am going to have the hardest time picking out a dress if I ever get married 😛
I immediately knew that a vintage makeup look was required to accompany this dress. I decided to go quite light with the eyeshadow and make it all about the statement winged liner and false lashes. This dress is so lovely I didn’t want the makeup to overpower it so I decided to not go with my initial thoughts of incorporating a red lip and instead went with a soft pink lip.
I kept the cheeks soft and pretty with just a little contour and pretty pink blush on the apples of my cheeks.
As I haven’t filmed a tutorial for bridal makeup yet I decided that this was the perfect time to do it. See link to the tutorial at the bottom of the post 🙂 *link to video coming in the next couple days!*
