A couple weekends ago I met up with my best friend’s brother, David, to take some photos in the city. To be honest it’s been a while since I’ve done a shoot with a ‘tog other than my aunty, Belinda Rae Photography, so I was a little nervous. Which I didn’t need to be as this isn’t the first time we have worked together…David, my bestie and I were totes profesh film makers at the age of 12ish. One day I hope to find a copy of our re-imagining of Snow White. Our acting and filming skills were on point! haha…
We started off in King Street (the only hoity toity street in Perth), making our way down alley ways, up stairs and searching for super reflective shop windows. On our walk back to the car we decided to go right to the top of the car park and take some photos up there…we ended up shooting some sweet pics there and we will be back to do another shoot up there soon.
David wanted to have some fun with bokeh and low light photos so we made our way up to Kings Park just before sunset…while we waited for the sun to go down he asked me to jump into a bush and pose! I gave the park goers something to gawk at. I kept laughing to myself thinking how funny it must look to see a girl lying in a bush in the middle of the park. Ended up getting one of my fave pics from this set though!
Once the sun had disappeared we broke out the LED lights and sparklers!!! So far I’ve only got one photo back with the LED lights, I’m waiting to see how the sparkler shots turned out…make sure you are following me on instagram @littlecoconut and @chloejoymakeupartist so you don’t miss those pics!
