I recently received a PR package from BYS Cosmetics and much to my delight it contained quite a lot of makeup. I couldn’t believe BYS had sent me so many products. I am so excited to have a play with my new makeup….I will be featuring these products in upcoming videos on my YouTube channel so make sure you’re subscribed otherwise you may miss seeing them!!
Below is photos and swatches of all the products that I received.
*note: as stated above, these products were sent to me as a PR package so I didn’t pay for them however any views expressed are entirely my own. I am not being paid to promote this brand.*
BYS Cosmetics Roll On Shimmer in Snow White
BYS Cosmetics Roll On Shimmer in Pink Valentine
These remind me of the NYX roll on shimmers! I haven’t really used roll on shimmers in the past but hey I’m always up for trying something different. I’m actually not too sure how to apply these – I am thinking roll onto my finger and use my finger to apply to my lids? I’m also going to try them out on my body, could be a fun product for music festivals! Are you guys a fan of roll on shimmers?? How do you use them?
BYS Cosmetics Velvet Lips in Bare Beauty
Ok first up, these smell like legit paint/plastic! So that was a turn off…however I worked through the smell and applied. The formula is surprisingly comfortable. I have been wearing Guilty Taupe for about 3 or 4 hours and my lips feel soft + non-peeling.
BYS Cosmetics Velvet Lips in Dreaming Pink

BYS Cosmetics Velvet Lips in Red Wine
BYS Cosmetics Metals Palette
Say hello to the star of this PR package! Just check out those swatches below – hellooooo pigment! Albeit I don’t go off swatches because a shade that swatches beautifully on your arm can turn out to be awful on your lids. Still, I love the shades in this palette and I cannot wait to have a play! That bronze/olive shade is calling my name.
BYS Cosmetics Matte Palette
The shades look lovely – they swatch terribly! I used Wanderer and Chocolate in my crease today with nice results. They applied and blended well…which you wouldn’t guess from the swatches. These palettes are about $20 AUD so let’s be honest the quality isn’t amazeballs but in saying that I am pleasantly surprised at how well the shades perform. I will be having more of a play in the coming weeks!!!
BYS Cosmetics Highlighting Trio
I didn’t have high hopes with this highlighter trio until I tried out the middle shade and almost blinded myself when I looked in the mirror! These shades are so pretty – see swatches below. I love that you can layer the powder so you can have a soft dewy look or a “so bright it blinds your haters” glow.
BYS Cosmetics Ultimate 2-in-1 Sponge
I was quite excited when I saw this silicone sponge. I’m kinda curious about them but hadn’t bothered to go buy one to try it out so yay! thank you BYS for including this in the package. And yes I did slap my face with the silicone side and giggled like a a kid at the sound it made #immature. I’m yet to try the sponge out but I do like the idea of silicone on one side (for applying) and sponge texture on the other side (for blending). Keep an eye out for my thoughts when I try it out soon.
BYS Glitter Set
BYS how did you know I am #obsessed with rose gold?! I will be using this glitter in a festival makeup look soon so keep an eye out on my YouTube channel!!!
