Soft Glowing Holiday Makeup

♡ Happy New Year darlings ♡

I actually posted this tutorial just before Christmas but as it’s not Christmas specific I am posting it today for my first post in 2017. I created this look using all Smitten Cosmetics makeup – if you haven’t heard of this brand then I recommend you check it out! An all australian, cruelty free, mostly vegan and right out of Perth, WA brand! I created an easy soft/glowy look that is perfect for the holiday period. I hope you guys like it! I had a lot of fun sitting down and filming again. ♡

I’m needing some inspiration for new videos so please feel free to leave ideas in the comment section!

Sending you all much love!

Requested Tutorial: Purple, Burgundy and Bronze

A few weeks ago I posted the picture below on my Instagram. One of my followers commented that she wanted to know how to do this look herself so I said that I would film a tutorial for her. I am sorry it has taken me so long!! I have been so busy and I haven’t mastered the art of great time management yet ha ha.

Therefore I will no longer be talking about Arbonne nor promoting it on my blog. I will still use their foundations because I love them!! but will not be  reviewing or using the products much in my makeup looks from now on. Apparently they only want you to talk about Arbonne “face to face” so I can’t talk about it online….not sure how that works considering so many people have their own Arbonne Facebook pages! And I’m not allowed to have a link to the official Arbonne website, seriously? how is having a link to their website a bad thing?? Anyhoo!

I hope that you guys liked this tutorial 🙂 I will be filming another requested tutorial very soon!!!

Much love to you all xoxox

Tutorial: Spring/Summer Inspired Makeup Look

(Make sure you watch the video in HD!!)
This week’s tutorial is super easy, colorful and fun 🙂 I really hope you guys like it!!Last week Belinda and I headed down to  Yellagonga Regional Park for a fun spring inspired photo shoot. I had this vision of running through the tall grass looking all romantic and fun…of course reality hit when I remembered that I’m actually allergic to grass and so ended up being SUPER itchy! 😛 haha. Oh well, it was worth it because I love the photos 🙂 I will be posting the some very soon!!For my makeup I wanted something bright, but not too bright, fun and easy, as who wants to spend hours doing their makeup when a beautiful spring/summer day is beckoning?!I checked out the recent 2013 Spring/Summer fashion shows and when I saw the models’ makeup for the Christian Dior show I decided that was going to be my inspiration for this look. Here is the photo I came across:

My version is a little different. I skipped the black liner on the upper lash line, and instead of red lips I used a pretty pink lipstick. I also added some gold liner to my waterline and smudged a darker purple on my lower lash line.

Products used.
Morgan Annie Face Primer.
Arbonne Liquid Foundation – Soft Blush.
Nars Blush – Orgasm.

MAC Paint Pot – Painterly.
Inika Organic Pigment – Velvet.
Makeup Geek Vanilla Bean.
Makeup Geek – Shimma Shimma.
Makeup Geek – Sensuous.
Avon Arabian Glow Eyeliner – Gold.
Makeup Geek – Gold Digger.
Morgan Annie Mascara – Black.

Arbonne Lipstick – Candy
NYX Lip Gloss – Tea Rose

And here is a sneak peek from the Spring Shoot!!!

Do you like my hair? It was so long and boofy I wasn’t sure what to do with it! So I put some product through it and then twisted bits of hair and pinned it back randomly. I was quite pleased with the result hehe. 🙂

Today is another fabulous spring day…made even better by that fact that my boy is coming home this afternoon!! I’m so excited 🙂 I woke up about 3 times last night ha ha.

So I shall sign off now as I have to head off to the airport soon!

Makeup Makeup

Hello lovelies!

This week’s Instagram post is mostly about makeup! The best kind of post, right? 😛

My week started off with a makeup party on Tuesday night. May I present the lovely Lisa and her friends:

See that girl with red lipstick? How stunning does she look! Not everyone can pull of red lips but she sure can 🙂

Uh oh! I got a little  big bit wet on Friday! I had to run a couple errands at work…the weather had been wintery all day, lots of rain and VERY windy. I looked out the window and thought “Oh yeah, it’s not raining, I’ll do my errands now.” Get  outside *bam!* starts POURING with rain. I did have an umbrella but the wind made mince meat of it so I just had to get wet. To be honest I actually didn’t mind. I felt so alive running through the wind and rain! Am I the only one who feels like that? ha ha.

I woke up early on Saturday morning to film this makeup look for you all…I hope you appreciate my dedication to you all! 😉 I found an Autumn inspired look on Makeup Bee and I had to recreate it! It was stunning.

After I filmed that Autumn tutorial I then had to quickly pack up my kit and make my way to Jacqui’s house to do her makeup for a lunch event. Jacqui is a fitness trainer for Ashy Bines Bikini Body Challenge…you may have seen the name floating around on Facebook? Jac is such a sweet girl! I loved getting to do her makeup for the end of challenge lunch with all her girls.

I am on fire with these tutorials lately! Oh how I love my video camera 😀  So this morning I filmed a requested look: Adele inspired makeup. I will be posting it next week! Suzanne, if you are reading this post, this tutorial is for YOU!

I’m sure you all will know what this look is inspired from! In case you don’t, this is inspired from the movie Black Swan. I’ve never really played around with more creative makeup such as this. I love creating bold, colourful looks but they have always been wearable. Not even I would wear this look out, unless it were for a costume party, hehe. I thought this would be an epic fail but I surprised myself and I’m pretty happy with the result. You will be seeing more of this look very soon! 🙂

Well that wraps up my week in Instagram!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend and that your week is shaping up to be fantastic one 🙂

Tutorial: Old Hollywood Glamour Makeup

I’m very excited to start up my video tutorials again 😀 Thanks to my family for buying me an awesome new video camera for my birthday!

I decided to create a 1940’s inspired glamour look, soft eyes and bold red lips, rather than a 1950’s bold black winged liner and red lips. (I will be creating a 1950’s Marilyn/Dita look very soon though!)
