Requested Tutorial: Taylor Swift Makeup

Hello lovelies 🙂

It’s tutorial time! I’ve been having a lot of fun filming and editing tutorials for you 😀 I’m so happy that I have a video camera again.

By the way, I’m toying with the idea of doing “day in the life of…” kind of video. I think it will be fun and will give you all a more personal insight into my life. What do you think, should I do it? Let me know in the comments!!

I’ve got a list of requested looks from a few months back so I am working through the list first before I start making tutorials that are a little more daring and crazy ha ha.

This week I created a classic Taylor Swift makeup look as requested by Sarah. Taylor’s makeup is actually quite easy to replicate as it is very minimalistic on the eyes (the hardest part of the face to correctly apply makeup) and dramatic on the lips (easy!) 🙂 The hardest part about this look is creating the winged liner. I tried to keep as much film as possible of me applying the liner as I know that is where most people will struggle.

Should I create a tutorial on how to apply winged liner?? 🙂

Oh, and I’m trying out a new photo layout for this post. The photos are thumbnail size but if you click on them they pop up bigger. This was my boyfriend’s suggestion as he said that it would make my posts look neater. I’m not too sure about it so I want YOUR thoughts on this layout. Do you like it? Is it annoying having to click on the photo to make it bigger? I am definitely going to incorporate this into my portfolios but I’m not so sure about doing it for my blog posts. So, please let me know your thoughts!!!

I love how you zoomed up really close to show how you did the winged eyeliner. So good. Most tutorials are so far away you can’t see what they’re doing, or they go so fast you miss it. Fantastic 🙂 And a really pretty look too. I will try it myself 🙂

Oh I’m glad that was helpful. I tried to keep as much footage as possible with the liner as I know it’s something I used to want to watch and people always skip over it! I’m looking forward to seeing you try it out! xox
